About this course
This one-year higher occupational certificate (SAQA ID 121150, NQF Level 5) prepares you for entry-level HR work. It focuses on HR administration, HR data and digital record keeping, compliance with labour legislation, recruitment support, workforce planning and employee relations. No HR or business subjects are needed at school. You can attend day classes or part-time evening and Saturday classes.
Microsoft PowerPoint certification is included. It is the first step in CTU's HR pathway: after the Administrator qualification you can continue to Human Resource Management Officer (NQF 6) and then Human Resource Management Advisor (NQF 7), one year each. It is an occupational qualification registered with the QCTO, so you complete knowledge, practical and workplace components and then write an external integrated summative assessment (EISA) to be certified.
