About This Course
Ideation Design is Inscape's specialisation for people who are more interested in the thinking behind design than in any single medium. The degree combines creative methods with research, strategy and communication. You learn to research problems, generate and test ideas, and communicate them visually, including through data visualisation and customer experience design. It suits curious, analytical learners who enjoy both creativity and problem-solving, and who may want to work in innovation, strategy or customer experience rather than traditional studio design.
The study pack includes software, textbooks, a Wacom tablet and stationery. The degree sits at NQF level 7, is taught on campus with a February intake, and articulates into honours or postgraduate diploma study.
Inscape describes its programmes as up to 90% practical and taught by lecturers who work in industry.
