The University of Pretoria is a long-established public university based in Pretoria, Gauteng, drawing students from across South Africa and abroad into a wide spread of academic fields spanning commerce, engineering, health sciences, law, humanities, agriculture and the country's only dedicated veterinary science faculty. Teaching takes place across several specialised campuses, including a health sciences campus at Prinshof and a veterinary campus at Onderstepoort, alongside the main Hatfield campus.
