  • Selection criteria: An Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 24 (excluding Life Orientation) is required.

For applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4:

  • Admission requirements: A National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF Level 4 with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma, or a higher certificate endorsement, achieving at least 50% in English (home language or first additional language) and 40% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • Selection criteria: An APS of at least 24 (excluding Life Orientation) is required.

Assessment Procedure:

  • Applicants undergo an additional assessment conducted by the Department of Visual Communication to determine their suitability for the program.
  • The assessment focuses on evaluating the applicants’ potential and capability in various aspects of communication design.
