This three (3) year diploma programme in nursing produces nurses with a range of skills, knowledge and attitude that will enable them to make a meaningful and sustainable contributions to health services in a range of health service settings. These nurses use methodical, solution-based approaches to problem solving in the nursing of stable patients. Successful completion of this programme leads to registration with the South African Nursing Council as a General Nurse.

Set in a dynamic private healthcare and education environment, a holistic educational approach is taken to enhance student centred learning; combining theory with work integrated learning in accredited hospitals and facilities. Integrated teaching and learning is provided in applied anatomy and physiology, applied pharmacology, mental health, maternal care, primary care, disease entities, nursing assessments, diagnosis and treatment of patients, with additional components covering research, administration, and teaching and applied nursing dynamics.
