Courses Offered at University of Zululand (UNIZULU) for 2027

Established in 1960 and based north of the uThukela River in KwaZulu-Natal, the University of Zululand is a comprehensive public institution that combines academic and vocationally-oriented programmes across two campuses. Its main campus at KwaDlangezwa hosts the bulk of its degree programmes across four faculties — Commerce, Administration and Law; Science and Agriculture; Arts; and Education — while its newer Richards Bay campus, opened in 2009, focuses on diploma and higher-certificate qualifications developed in partnership with local industry and the maritime sector. UNIZULU has built a reputation for producing graduates who go on to hold leadership roles in government, education, science and commerce, and positions itself as a research-active institution with strong ties to the surrounding communities it serves.
