Private universityThe Academy of Digital Arts, trading as Friends of Design, has operated from Bree Street in central Cape Town since 2006, offering one year Higher Certificates across graphic design, web and UX/UI design, game and interactive media development, and concept art, plus a three year Bachelor of Arts in Concept Art. Every full time lecturer is a practising professional in their field, and students build a portfolio through live client and studio style projects.
