The Health and Fitness Professionals Academy has trained sport and fitness professionals since 1979, from its Pretoria headquarters and teaching campuses in Sunninghill (Johannesburg), Stellenbosch and Gqeberha. Its qualifications run from a Higher Certificate in Exercise Science through an Advanced Certificate, alongside national certificates in coaching science and sport management and higher occupational certificates in sport journalism and events organising, accredited variously by CHE, REPSSA, CATHSSETA and QCTO.

Admission Requirements at HFPA
Two things decide an offer: your APS, and the specific subjects a programme requires at a minimum level. A high APS does not help if a compulsory subject is missing, so check both on the course page before you apply.
