Milpark's Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an AMBA-accredited, 201-credit qualification at NQF level 9 (SAQA ID 94856). It is built for working managers who want to step into senior general management and lead responsibly in a changing business environment.
The curriculum is arranged in three blocks:
- Foundation and values: four modules, including leadership development.
- Functional: nine modules covering areas such as strategy, finance, operations, marketing and people management.
- Integration: a business simulation, a business consulting project and a dissertation.
Students also take two electives.
You can study through Immersive Online Learning (IO), with scheduled live sessions and group work, or through Distance Learning (DL), which is more self-paced. There are two intakes a year, in February and July, and the programme takes two years. Textbooks are not included in the fees and are estimated at about R8 200.
