IIE Higher Certificate in Mobile Application and Web Development Course Requirements at IIE Rosebank

Applicants require a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Higher Certificate endorsement and a minimum of 30% in the Language of Learning and Teaching (LOLT); or a National Certificate (Vocational) [NC(V)] Higher Certificate pass with 40%; or a Senior Certificate (SC) with endorsement and 33.3% in LOLT. International applicants require a SAQA Evaluation Certificate confirming NSC Level 4 equivalence with at least 30% in English. Alternative access routes include Mature Age Exemption Category 5 (age 23+, attempted Senior Certificate, three years' work experience, demonstrated relevant ability); Category 6 (age 45+ before or during first year of registration, admitted on age alone); Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) via accredited/informal qualification certificates, SAQA certificates for international credentials, and a CV; and GED (SAQA evaluation, minimum 145/200), OQSF Level 4, IEB International Secondary Certificate and USAf Exemption Certificate pathways subject to evaluation.
